My New Living Room (Furniture)

So, 2 Friday's ago I had the day off.  It was a teacher's in-service day so just the teacher's had to go to work.  I went to Moses Lake and met Jodi at Furniture West.  I purchased this lovely love seat and couch.  It had quite the travel experience getting to my home but thankfully, it got here!

Last Saturday I drove back to Moses Lake and picked up the 2 end tables and the sofa table.

I am now thrilled with the way the front room looks and feels.  Before with my big sofa, it felt

tight, cramped, and very long.  Now with not so bulky furniture it feels spacious and bigger.

 

 

 

I also bought a chair I was going to put in the living room but decided against it.  I put it in the kitchen corner instead.  It definitely wasn't a "Kyle" chair so I left the other one in the living room so he has a tv chair still.  So kind of me!

First Day at Mesa Elementary!

 

Since I am a great aunt, I took a picture of Kennedy and Cash on their first day of

school!!!  Kennedy is in 1st grade and Cash is in 4th grade!

STORM!

 

Briar took this tonight right as the storm was beginning.  I can't get it to save

on my compter correctly so I can get the black out, but had to show it

anyway.  This storm produced LOTS of lightning that was just like the picture

above....straight down and huge! It also produced many tree branches on my lawn!

Kennewick American U11 Baseball Team = STATE Champs!!

Here are some shots from the baseball tournament yesterday in Kennewick.  Chance's team

had to play (and win) 2 games to be the State Champs.  They did it!!
Their first game was against the other Kennewick team...the Kennewick Nationals.

It was a hard fought game, as any rivalry would be.

The Americans won in 9 innings, score of 11-7.  A walk-off grand slam was the

difference in this game.  WOW!

 

In no particular order, here are some of my favorites from the day.

This girl's name is Bella.  Of course it is!!! 

 

Next up:  Regionals in Helena, Montana!!!

Quick Trip To San Francisco!

Kyle got a 4 day break this last weekend from work so we took advantage!  We drove down to

San Francisco to watch the Dodgers and Giants play baseball at AT&T Park!

We always said that once all the kids were out of the house we were going to go to all the

baseball fields.  2 down!!

 

Here's a tip we learned:  San Francisco has lots of bridges leading into

and out of the city.  The Golden Gate Bridge doesn't take cash!

The streets in San Francisco!  The bus and cable car drivers were on strike

the days we were in the city.  Crazy!

The American Cup is going to be held in the city this year also.  LOTS of

things going on to get ready for this.
